Privacy notice
Updated September 2, 2026
Who we are
ArrowClear is operated by Brandon Birkes, operating as PocketFrolic, based in New York, United States. For support and privacy requests, email arrowclear@pocketfrolic.com.
This notice covers ArrowClear, this PocketFrolic website, and messages sent to our support address. Advertisers’ websites and other services you visit have their own privacy practices.
Game progress and your nickname
The game stores your nickname and progress on your device so you can continue between sessions. You do not need a separate ArrowClear login account to play.
Completed levels can automatically submit your nickname and level score to GDevelop’s online leaderboard. Other players can see leaderboard names and scores. Use a nickname rather than your real name, email address, or other identifying information. A generated nickname does not guarantee anonymity. Changing your nickname locally does not necessarily remove older online entries.
Requests to an online service also disclose connection information, such as an IP address, to that service. GDevelop operates the leaderboard infrastructure. See GDevelop’s privacy notice for its processing practices.
Rewarded advertisements
ArrowClear includes Google AdMob advertising. When an ad is available, you can choose to watch it for an additional hint, undo, or extra life. Current development builds are configured to request test ads.
Google’s advertising software can process IP addresses, device and account identifiers, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. IP addresses can be used to estimate general location. The information processed depends on SDK configuration and applicable choices. Choosing not to watch a rewarded ad does not necessarily prevent all advertising-service processing.
Read Google’s privacy policy and Google’s Mobile Ads SDK data disclosure.
Advertising privacy choices
The test app includes Google’s consent software and a Privacy Choices control on the main menu. Where available and applicable, Google’s forms let you review advertising choices. Availability depends on the app configuration and your region. Non-personalized ads can still involve data processing.
The current test build has reported a privacy-service error. A failed request does not confirm consent, withdrawal, or an opt-out. Email us if you cannot access the controls. An email to PocketFrolic does not itself change Google’s stored advertising preferences.
Android also provides advertising-ID controls in device settings. Those controls do not automatically delete leaderboard entries or support correspondence.
Website and support
Cloudflare hosts this website and processes web requests and related connection information to deliver and protect it. The website code does not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts, account registration, or contact forms. Hosting services may still process technical logs. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
If you email us, we receive your address, message, and any attachments. We use them to respond to questions, investigate problems, and handle privacy requests. Namecheap Private Email provides our email service. See Namecheap’s privacy policy. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
Who receives information
The services described above receive information needed for their roles: GDevelop for the leaderboard, Google for ads and advertising privacy messages, Cloudflare for the website, and Namecheap for email. Leaderboard names and scores are public to other players. Providers may also process information for their own purposes under their notices.
Retention and deletion
Local game data remains until it is removed. Clearing the app’s storage removes local progress and settings; it does not automatically erase online leaderboard entries or provider-held information.
Our retention policy is to keep support messages for up to 12 months after resolution and leaderboard entries while the leaderboard operates, unless removed following a verified deletion request. Provider-held logs, backups, and advertising information may follow different retention periods under the providers’ policies.
To request removal of a leaderboard entry, email your nickname and relevant score to us. We may need additional proportionate information to identify the correct entry. Do not send identity documents unless we have explained why they are needed. Continuing to play may submit a new score; deleting an entry is not the same as disabling future submissions.
Your rights and requests
Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict processing, or object to certain uses. Where applicable, you may withdraw consent or opt out of targeted advertising or processing treated as sale or sharing under a state privacy law. These rights have conditions and exceptions.
Send requests to arrowclear@pocketfrolic.com. We may verify the request before taking action. If you disagree with a response, contact us again and explain your concern. UK users may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Younger users
ArrowClear’s intended audience is ages 13 and older. It is not intended for children under 13. Contact us if you believe an under-13 child has provided personal information through the game. A 13+ label does not mean teenage privacy protections have been verified; those protections remain part of the pre-release review.
Security and international processing
No internet service can guarantee absolute security. PocketFrolic operates in the United States, and providers may process information in other countries. Details of applicable international-transfer arrangements and UK legal grounds for processing are still under review before a UK public launch. This testing notice should not be read as confirmation that those launch requirements have been completed.
Changes and contact
We will revise this notice as the app and its privacy settings are finalized and show the updated date above. Material changes will receive additional notice where required.
